Mrs. Marcellina St. Edward-Preville began her employment with SLASPA in September 2012.  Mrs. St. Edward-Preville who is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants brings a wealth of experience in the areas of accounting and management to the Accounting Department as the Deputy Financial Controller. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Management as well as aMaster of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance.

Her responsibilities include, but are not limited to maintaining the integrity of the accounting system and contributing to financial analyses at the Authority. As the Deputy Financial Controller, Mrs. St. Edward-Preville assists the Financial Controller in the overall management of the Finance and Accounting Department and is responsible for ensuring compliance with internal controls. She plays a major part in the timely preparation of financial statements, monitoring of the financial position of the firm and is a key member of SLASPA’s negotiating team and other local Accounting Budgeting committees. 

Mrs. St. Edward-Previlleheld a number of senior management positions prior to joining the SLASPA team, thus placing her in good stead to undertake the myriad of extensive activities that form part of her portfolio at SLASPA. Further to this, her emphasis on team synergy as a means of achieving departmentalgoals has augured well with regards to meeting the diverse needs of SLASPA’s portfolio.

Mrs. St. Edward-Preville is excited to be a part of the dynamic SLASPA team and is well on her way to making a difference at the Authority as she assists in moving her Accounting team towards a platform of excellence and professional efficiency.
